This got me thinking. How come we never celebrate “curvy men”? A fat man is automatically treated as a slob, glutton or his lack of sexual experience is insulted. Many women have stated that their ideal man is willowy and thin, not even necessarily muscular either. A rigid abdomen is considered to be the most desirable of traits. But fat men are handsome too!

Many people still support the old “When Did This Become Hotter Than This” image and “Real Women Have Curves” campaign, unable to understand the harm of encouraging people to say one female body type is better than another. If they can’t recognize bad messages, maybe showing a good one will help.
