A lot of people are discussing the introduction of human puppet minions of the Daleks. For many, this is a sinister new development, but in truth, this concept has been around since the very earliest Dalek stories. Dalek Invasion of Earth featured Robomen, humans surgically converted by the Daleks into obedient slaves.

Hell, even the eyestalk from the forehead isn’t the most original. All I kept seeing was the Dalek human minion Lytton from Resurrection of the Daleks and his and his troops’ goofy ass helmets.

Nice Classic Who nods, Moffat.
